Canaan Valley SPE Weekend

Canaan Valley, WV SPE trip, January 8 - January 11, 2009. Trip leader: Barbara Livingston. This is the first of three annual weekend SPE trips for the year.

Barbar Livingston was this year's trip lead. We stayed at the Canaan Valley Lodge but due to less than favorable snow conditions at Canaan Valley, we all did our snow sliding at Timberline which exhibited exceptional snow management.

In addition to the welcome party on Thursday and daily Happy Hours, we took over Whitegrass Cafe for dinner Friday night and nearly took over the Mountain State Brewery Saturday night, both via the big yellow school bus. New this year was meeting Natalie who provided chair massages and learning who amongst us know how to play Corn Hole.
